T-Shirt design front and back question
« on: December 21, 2006, 02:26:12 PM »

I am trying to design a tshirt with a front and back design and I am a little confused about how to tell if a design is a front or back design.

Can anyone help me?

Lucy,

Each design that you make in the t-shirt design studio can be printed on either the front or back of a shirt.  You decide where a design is placed during the checkout process.  On other sites you design the entire shirt - front and back together.  Our site allows you the flexibility to use your designs anywhere you like.

Why are there buttons for DTG front and back in the design center?

Customers familiar with the way other sites worked kept asking us how to design a shirt with a front or back design.  So we added a button to eliminate the questions up front....when you check out you then see that your designs can be used in either location.  Not the most elegant solution but it works.

Hi, Chris,

After playing around with the site and reading the Help sections, etc. for an hour or so, I'm a bit confused about the site...

I'd like to be able to specify a printed, text design for the front; and a printed, graphic design for the back of a t-shirt. How can I achieve that? It appears that you can design for either the front OR the back, but not both. The Checkout page doesn't seem to allow you to specify where to put the design either (front or back), and if it does, it does not appear to show you what design is used for which item, and whether it will be printed on the back or front.

My goal is to put a custom text of two lines on the left chest, and an uploaded logo to the back of a shirt.

Any assistance you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated. I like the selection of apparel your company offers over the other ones I have been researching today.

Thank you,

Michael
